Choosing the Right VoIP Hardware for Your Zembo Satellite System

The zGEMMA device is a small device that is used in order to find a direct signal between your satellite dish receiver and the S1 antenna. If you already have your zGemma box attached to your ISP's network router all you have to do is find the direct LAN connection (Ethernet) cable behind your zGemma box and connect this cable to the "ethernet" port marked on your zGemma box. Then simply connect the ethernet cable to your router with an ethernet cable, and your Z Gigmate receiver will be up and running! Here are the steps for a Gigmate installations.

There are two different types of iptv satellite television service providers out there, they are analog iptv and digital iptv. If you are planning on hooking up your zgemma box to another popular iptv provider like HughesNet, Ameritrade or Direct TV then you won't need one of the digital iptv options because digital signals come through your antenna rather than your cable box. Luckily all the other popular providers have these types of options available, so you should not have any trouble getting hooked up if you have a digital antenna.

HughesNet iptv - If you have a HughesNet iptv receiver then you can skip this step and save yourself some money, but if you don't have one of these receivers then this should be a no brainer. Simply cut an ethernet cable and insert into your zgemma-star receiver slot, and you're good to go. This option should be able to get you started in most any area, and you will still be able to watch channels from whatever satellite or cable company you have in your area. The one thing to remember is that HughesNet has a special deal with their receivers, called the Zebra slot, which allows you to take advantage of free internet for life with HughesNet by simply paying for internet access every month.

Digital satellite TV - Another popular iptv provider is HughesNet, and they have a great deal with DirecTV. Both of these companies offer you the ability to watch satellite TV through your zgemma range, which is a great deal. DirecTV gives you free access to over two hundred channels, and HughesNet offers you nearly two hundred channels in HD for free. These types of deals make satellite TV an even more affordable choice, and you will be able to easily transfer your HughesNet iptv receiver into your zgemma receiver, should you ever need to do this. This may seem like a lot of work for an antenna set, but it's really not that difficult to do. You will however want to watch a channel or two on either one of these services every day, to get the maximum amount of high definition channels.

iSCSI ZEMBA Range - iSCSI stands for ISCSI, and is used in conjunction with one of your Zebra set-top boxes, which means that you can connect all your devices together via the zemba range. This is another popular iptv service from HughesNet. iSCSI is great for saving space on your iSCSI network and can allow you to connect your devices to multiple Zebra Satellite iSCSI uplink ports. You will be able to access satellite TV channels via your Zemba range, as well as access a variety of other digital video channels.

iSCSI ZEMBA Range - If you're looking for the ultimate in security for your computer network, you might want to consider using iSCSI instead of iSCSI. Top tips with BRT UK Not only is this slower than standard iSCSI protocols, but it is also more secure since you are using a different technology for encryption and authentication. However, if you are planning on using your Zembo set top box for VoIP with your Zemma satellite box, you should use iSCSI. This is just a personal preference, and the choice is entirely yours.

SBSC - If you have a SBSC subscription, you will find that all of your devices share the same set of channels. The SBSC format is dictated by the satellite stations, so your VoIP equipment must support this format. There are some SBSC channels that are unencrypted, which is why you need iSCSI for them. Your Zembo Satellite box and iSCSI network should be able to handle any iSCSI command that comes across it. You may need iSCSI for digital audio as well, but this depends on whether or not your VoIP service has already adopted HDCP or not.

HDCP - This is mostly used for high quality digital television, and you can find many channels that are offered in this format. You should however make sure that your Zembo Satellite Box or iSCSI processor can support HDCP before you try to watch any channels in this format. The iSCSI port on your Zembo Satellite Box should be able to handle HDCP without problems, but if you have a problem, either send an iSCSI command to the receiver, or check the device's documentation to see what kind of encoding it uses for HDCP.
